Dr. Jenna Herr is passionate about helping patients feel their best and achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Herr’s journey to orthodontics began with her own experience in the patient chair, seeing firsthand the life changing impact orthodontic treatment can have. That inspiration led her to pursue orthodontics as a profession to help others achieve the same transformation and joy.
Dr. Herr is privileged to be an orthodontist and believes it is one of the best jobs in the world! Some of Dr. Herr’s favorite parts about being an orthodontist include crafting one-of-a-kind smiles, watching patient growth in self-confidence over the course of treatment, connecting with patients and families, and witnessing the surprise and delight on a patient’s face seeing their new smile for the first time.
Excellence in Education
Dr. Jenna Herr graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Binghamton University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Integrative Neuroscience and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors. Dr. Herr went on to pursue orthodontic specialty training at Temple University, earning her specialty certificate and Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Health Sciences.
Dr. Herr recognizes that the field of orthodontics is constantly evolving and changing. She is committed to continuing education through conferences and seminars to stay well-informed on the emerging techniques and innovations in the field. Dr. Herr is a board-certified orthodontist which sets the standard for excellence in orthodontics, ensuring delivery of exceptional orthodontic care for patients and pursuit of high-quality treatment outcomes.

Outside the Office
Although originally from Upstate New York, Dr. Herr has called Philadelphia home ever since moving to the area for dental school. Dr. Herr and her sister are the only dentists in their family! Her sister is currently studying to become a prosthodontist.
Outside the office, Dr. Herr enjoys getting outside and walking the city - especially along the Schuylkill River, finding and trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.
A Focus on Community
Dr. Herr is dedicated to giving back to the community. During her training, she provided dental care to underserved populations in West Philadelphia at a Federally Qualified Health Center. She also helped lead the Philadelphia Oral Cancer Walk & 5K, raising awareness and funds for early detection and research. These experiences deepened her commitment to serving others and shaped the way she approaches patient care today. She continues to look for ways to give back through education, outreach, and service. Dr. Herr is devoted to making a positive impact both inside and outside of the practice.
